So here I am today, once again... BORED.
Today is day one of my amazing diet, I went to No Frills with the mom last night to buy veggies and chicken for my wonderful diet. The reason I have retruend to this diet was because I had noticed that my body is really breaking down, especially my stomache, due to horrible eating habits and selection of foods. For the past 3 or 4 months I have literally been eating fast food or dining outside every single day. I remember at my friend's makeup party I was told that as we (girl generally, maybe boys as well)get older, the bad stuff; such as, sleeping late, alcohol intake, cigarettes, poor eating habits, poor selection of foods, and lack of exercise add up and come into effect. It's like one day they will all come anc hit you at the same time, because this cookie jar can no longer fit anymore cookies... And that's what I felt has happened to me. I feel like the colour of my skin has become dull, my skin itself has suffered more breakouts than ever before, and my stomache definitely took a big hit! Since about a month ago I have not been feeling well. The first sign was my period coming late, but because I have not been sexually active for the past few months, I was not worried about being pregnant...Now I am only hoping for my period to return to its regular cycle this month. Then the past week or two I have noticed that my stomache is bloated ALL THE TIME. In fact, after every meal, I've been feeling really sour and I can't seem to figure out what's wrong... Do I have a hole in my stomache? Well, it could also be stress levels, recently I have noticed how I uncontrolably clench my stomache at work at or home, and when I finally realize, then I let go of it. You know, sometimes I can hardly tell if I'm hungry or is I'm not feeling well... I should really go consult my family doctor asap. Possibly my body has suffered so much damage that the "toxins box" is full... So I'm starting this diet (again) to hopefully tune my body back to its regular self and to release the evil toxins!This diet was given to me by an ex co-worker. She is a middle aged lady and she tried this diet for a good month and had told me how she lost 10 pounds and gained a flat stomache! I previously tried this diet for 1 week, and I admit, it pretty much works! The flat stomache came by pretty quick, but of course, I did not eat EVERYTHING on this diet sheet, I did some substitutes, for example, I sub-ed chicken breast for salmon and I didn't eat EVERYTHING that was prescibed in the meal (for example, I skipped breafast cus I had no time for breakfast!), at the same time, I also did not eat anything that was out of this meal plan.
So let me share this diet with you:
8-12 oz of spring water
BREAKFAST:
- 3 eggs whites and 1 whole eggs OR 4-6 oz piece of broiled salmon
- 1/2 cup of oatmeal (not instant)
- 4oz canteloupe OR 1/4 cup of fresh berries
- 8-12 oz spring water
LUNCH:
-4-6 oz grilled salmon OR tuna packed in spring water
-2 cups romaine lettuce
-1 tbl spoon extra virgin olive oil and freshly squeezed lemon juice to taste
-4 oz canteloupe OR 1/4 cup fresh berries
-8-12 oz of water
MID-AFTERNOON SNACK:
-2 oz low salt sliced chicken breast OR 6 oz plain yogurt
-4 raw, unsalted hazelnuts
-1/2 green apple
-8-12 oz of water
DINNER:
-4-6 oz of grilled salmon
-2 cups romaine lettuce
-1 cup steamed asparagus, broccoli, OR spinach
-4 oz canteloupe OR 1/4 cup of berries
-8-12 oz of water
BEFORE-BEDTIME SNACK:
-2 oz low fat low salt chicken breast/turkey OR 6 oz plain yogurt
-1/2 pear OR green apple
-3-4 almonds or olives
-8-12 oz of water
